I am a native of New England and I now reside in upstate New York. I have been drawing, painting and taking photo's for as long as I can remember. I love exploring the endless possibilities of mixed media paintings, digital illustration and photo imaging. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The University of Connecticut. Throughout the past three decades I have had opportunities to utilize my talents in several different genre's of art including digital photography and imaging, digital illustration, web design, abstract, landscape, portrait and figure drawing and painting using a variety of mediums, all styles of pen and ink illustration, murals, multi-image slide presentations, video production as well as desktop publishing. I spend most of my time now creating digital and mixed media abstract art with a spiritual theme. I have enjoyed teaching painting, drawing, mixed media and design at schools and arts organizations in the New England area, including The Farmington Art Guild, Farmington High School, The Wethersfield Art League, Ashton Art Institute, and The Learning Exchange to name a few. I have also taught private art lessons in Connecticut and Florida.  A few Juried Exhibitions include solo exhibitions at Phoenix Mutual Gallery, Hartford Ct., and The Kirshbaum Library, Waterbury, Ct. Juried group shows at the New England Artist Exhibition, Cape Cod Art Association, Barnstable Village, Mass., Impressive Impressions, The Atria Gallery, Hartford, Ct., The Newburyport Waterfront Festival, Newburyport, Ma., Tamarac Street Fair, Tamarac Fl., Alumni Exhibition, Atrium Gallery, Storrs, Ct., Seven Lively Arts Festival, Hollywood Fl., and Park Art Exhibits, Central Park South, New York City to name a few. In the New York area I have shown my work at the Art Society of Kingston, G.A.S. Gallery in Poughkeepsie NY's small works show, Kingston's Open Studio tour, The LGBTQ Center in Kingston, a solo show at Hudson Traders in Kingston, and a show at the Art Riot in Kingston. I also did a solo show at Sanjula Salon in Tivoli. The theme was a Tribute to New Orleans and featured digital illustrations. I helped put together a successful fundraiser at the Art Society of Kingston, called "In Full Bloom" a group show to celebrate womens history month which included my art and music. I have had some great opportunities to explore the commercial art world. One of my favorite jobs was working as an illustrator/designer for The Nexus in Canton, Ct., musician Todd Rundgren's fan network. I also enjoyed being the creative director at Slidestudio in Hartford, Ct. designing slide presentations for corporations promoting Grey Poupon Mustard, Smirnoff Vodka, A-1 Steak sauce and more. I was an art consultant for Trans Art Inc. in Boca Raton, Fl., helping people utilize art to beautify their homes and offices. And I designed and painted numerous murals for Computer Based Systems and Services Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I also design all promotional material for my band "Ditto" and do all the website design.  My other passion is writing and performing original music along with artist tributes. I have made numerous appearances throughout New York, the Tri-State area and Florida. That's a whole other story!
